Evangelism
In our service to others evangelism and discipleship must not be overlooked. Matthew 8:36 reads, "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
We pray that by helping others in our communities and around the world that it would open their hearts to hear the message of salvation. By accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life and developing a personal relationship with Him, true hope for the future can be found.
Many Christians find it difficult to verbally share their faith with others. The "wordless walking stick" developed by the Fellowship of Christian Farmers is an easy way to bridge this barrier. Evangelism can be done by giving away walking sticks at county fairs, swap meets and other community events. As people seek a personal relationship with Jesus a program of discipleship needs to be established to complete the Great Commission.
In HIS Service attempts to train local churches in the use of the walking stick tool and then to follow-up with individuals who want to develop their relationship with Jesus.
