Living Waters Ministry - Pine Mountain Kentucky
Living Waters is a 501c (3) charity endeavoring to serve the elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Their main focus is delivering food, toiletries, heaters, and other supplies that may be needed by the people they serve. When volunteers are available they also tackle small building projects such as handicap ramps and decks. Donated non perishable food items can be dropped off at the Prairie Depot Insurance Agency 418 Main Street in Rising Sun, Ohio.
Twenty-five totes of food were successfully delivered on March 5th to Living Waters ministry in Pine Mountain KY. In addition 200 pounds of frozen leg quarters ,100 pounds of ground beef and various other needed supplies were also donated.
Many thanks to all who participated in this project. Without your help this and similar projects can not be completed. A special thanks to St. John's Methodist church in Allenwood PA. for their $1000.00 donation to Living Waters ministry.
A Tote of Food ($60) will last them approximately one (1) month, depending on the size of the family. Living Waters is excited to distribute these reusable totes to their less fortunate elderly and struggling families.
The tote project will be an ongoing ministry as each month these totes will need to be filled again. So, if you would like to make a monthly donation and ”sponsor a family” that would be greatly appreciated! Tax deductible monetary donations can be mailed to:

Perhaps when this hope is ignited they will be drawn to the ultimate hope of a relationship with Jesus as their Savior. James 3:13 "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. |
